Dr. Michael T. Griffeth, M.D.

Dr.Griffeth has enjoyed treating Tooele County residents for the past five and a half years. Prior to moving to Tooele, he treated the Price, Utah community for two years. A native of Preston, Idaho he received his Associates degree from Ricks College. He attended Portland State University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. He continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. Striving for excellence has always been a goal of Dr. Griffeth's as a Doctor and Surgeon. He served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. He was the first recipient of the Earl DuBois Scholarship at Oregon Health Sciences University. He graduated with High Honors from Portland State University. While attending Ricks College he made the Deans list. His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Utah Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Griffeth resides in Stansbury Park with his wife, Kindy and five children. In his spare time, he enjoys quiet evenings at home with his family or traveling with family and friends. Patient care and education have been always remained his top priority. He maintains educated in the field of Ophthalmology so he may offer the best possible eye care options to his patients. Keeping his patients educated and involved in their eye care decision is important to Dr. Griffeth. After all, they're his neighbors!


Dr. David K. Morrill, O.D.

Griffeth Vision Group was happy to welcome Dr. Morrill to the practice in 2006 after he had worked independently in Tooele. He has been a large asset to the practice and offers a great deal of knowledge and expertise. A native Utahan and fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Morrill received his Associates of Science degree from Utah Valley State College. He continued his education at Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Morrill then relocated to Fullerton, California where he received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry. He is the recipient of the WICHE (Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education) Scholarship, Utah Vision Foundation Scholarship, SOLAQuest Scholarship and the Alumni Association of SCCO (Southern California College of Optometry) Endowed Scholarship. In May 2003, Dr. Morrill was awarded the Vision West Inc. "Independent Optometric Practice Award". His professional affiliations include the American Optometric Association, Utah Optometric Association and participates in the Vistakon Inc. Leadership & Lecture team. Dr. Morrill and his wife Tawnya reside in Tooele with their two children. He loves living in Tooele and values the interaction he shares with the community. In his spare time, you'll find him spending time with his family or playing a round of golf. Maintaining his education in the field of Optometry has always been of the utmost importance. Staying educated helps him present the best possible eye care options to his patients, whether it is through specialty contact lens or dry eye solutions. Patient will always be treated with respect and kindness. The patient truly matters to Dr. Morrill and keeping them involved in their eye care decisions.
